Recent signing from neighbours Soham United. Good in the air likes to stay on his feet.
Adam Clements - Striker, 18
Ex Youth team player. A tricky striker who will score goals. Great potential will score goals this season.
Sam Cooper - Midfielder, 23
Been playing for the club for 13 years. Big tackling midfielder who likes to play the perfect ball and will pop up with a few goals. Great ability could play higher.
Tommy Crawford - Midfielder, 32
Local hero, retired from the 1st team after many successful years in Ridgeon's football. Old man of the team, always talking. Great for the team. Enjoying playing at a lower level. Running the show.
Ryan Davis - Defender, 17
Plays for Youth team. Very skilful and likes to get forward. Ex
Liam Eley - Striker, 18
Ex Youth team player, very quick two footed striker. Huge potential and with the right attitude would be pushing for the 1st Team.
Ryan Fitchett - Defender, 18
Solid full back who is very strong. Rarely beaten by wingers and always gives 100% on the pitch. Came up through the Youth team.
Jake Fuller - Midfielder, 18
Plays for the Youth team. Does things simple, enjoys tackling. Following in his brothers’ footsteps. Always gives 100%.

Experienced striker with a great eye for goal. Played at a higher level, Used to play for Youth team.
Michael King - Defender, 25
Big tackling defender, likes to tackle will always give his all. Currently out injured with a knee injury.

Promising young goalkeeper came up through the Youth team. Great shot stopper and can be very vocal.

Tall centre half very strong and good in the air. Come through the Youth team and is a very promising defender.
William Seymour - Midfielder, 16
Very promising youngster, who has been involved with the 1st team this season. Likes to get forward quickly and has two very good feet. Will definitely go on to play at a higher level.
Paul Skinner - Defender, 21
Back from injury after three seasons out just getting back to full fitness. Typical centre half who is good in the air and strong tackler. Has been at the club for over 10 years, and is a former Youth team Captain.
Gavin Stevenson - Manager (Gav)
With years of experience of every level in Eastern Counties Football, Gavin brings a lot of knowledge and experience to the club. With sometimes a unique way of putting things across, things are sometimes easier seen and understood. A very controlled gentleman, who has plenty to say on the touchline. A very passionate Manager with tactical knowledge and know how. Gavin many a times has put it on the line for the boys and encourages progress, enjoyment and good football over results.
CJ Gibson - Assistant Manager/Physio (CJ/Coach)
Gavin's assistant and training coach. After experience at Under 18 level and higher, CJ brings experience at playing this level and understanding the things in and around football that the youths will take on in their lives. Goalkeeper coach and physio too, CJ appears on the touchline beside Gavin and has loads of passion for the game itself. Will defend the boys how he can and has a good connection with the players and parents, with both character and understanding.
Mark Hammond - Coach (Sparky)
Mark returns to the set up as a coach after playing four years ago. Helps with training and offers experience from his time with the club.
Danny Adams - Forward
Bustling centre forward signed from Swavesey Colts. Missed much of last season with a niggling injury but now recovered and looking very sharp through the pre-season programme.
Jordan Alexander (Jordy) - Forward
Tall striker signed from Soham Colts, making several Floodlit league appearances last season. Local Soham lad who is the team’s Captain. Made his 1st Team debut during pre-season, as well as appearing for the Reserves. Jordy has quick pace and footwork with a cool finish on goal.

Alex Burr (Bear) - Defender
Tall central defender signed from Peterborough United. Played in several trial games at the end of last season and has shown good dedication in pre-season training and games so far. Always seems to block a ball from nowhere or have a last ditch tackle in him.
Aaron Carmen (Azza) - Forward
A diminutive winger with a good eye for goal. A tricky little attacker who bends defenders inside out. Aaron was a regular with the U18’s last term, and is a player with great promise.
Jamie Chamberlain (Jay) - Goalkeeper
Recruited from Fowlmere Colts and was almost ever present last season. Shows great promise and will be again seeking to be first choice keeper this term. Very keen and enthusiastic in training, probably the league’s best shot stopper.
Jamie Clark (Clarky) - Goalkeeper
Signed from Ely Crusaders Colts. A very promising keeper and has three years ahead of him at this level and has shown up well during pre-season.
Sam Cook (Cookie) - Defensive Midfielder
In his second year with the club having signed from Milton Colts and converted from striker to midfield. Made several Floodlit League appearances last term and will be seeking to be a regular for this season.
Phil Cowlan - Forward
Robust striker recruited from Ely Crusaders Colts, has two years at U18 level and will be looking to establish himself in the side this term. Great striker of the ball, who creates space for striking partners as draws defenders well.

Skilful left side midfielder recruited from Fulbourn Falcons, who has three years at U18 level and will be pushing hard for a regular place this term.
Blake Kneeshaw - Midfielder
Ely based tenacious midfielder recruited from Ely Crusaders Colts. Has three years to go at U18 level. Blake has been included in the final selection group for the
Scott Lightfoot - Defender
Centre half signed from Histon. A tall and commanding player, with an excellent touch and passing ability. Made several Floodlit League appearances last term but missed much of the pre-season programme through injury, but will be seeking to establish his place in the side in the autumn.
Tom Norton (Tommy) - Defender
Tall elegant defender or midfield player recruited from Bluntisham Colts, who featured in Ridgeons Youth League games at the end of last season. Good control and self discipline, oozes confidence when on the ball.
Joss Nunn (Nunny) - Forward
Tall elegant striker recuited from Soham Colts and is the Cousin of former U18 keeper Scott Howe. Made his debut in the Eastern Junior Cup against Lowestoft in December 2008, and will be seeking to follow in his Father Paul's footsteps, who played for the 1st Team in the 1980's.
Chris Roberts - Defender
Scouser left back signed from Comberton Colts in the summer. Will be looking to force his way into the team in his first season at this level.
Sam Riches - Midfielder
Burwell based lad now in his third season at U18’s.Good character in training and the dressing room. Can play anywhere in midfield. Tough tackling and always involved, has a good eye for goal.
Steve Sexton - Defender
Tall central defender recruited from Comberton Youth. Caught the eye with several good pre-season displays and has made two 1st Team appearances pre-season. Tall, commanding and bases himself on the 1st Teams’ Martin McNeil. Strong and determined.
Elliott Smart (El) - Defensive Midfielder
Midfielder or right back who came through from Soham Colts. Local Soham lad just returning to sport after a period of illness has shown much potential last season. Does the simple things, lets the play just flow around him.
Daniel Sterna (Sternz) - Midfield
A competitive midfielder with an eye for goal, who was almost an ever present last season. Daniel has good footwork and passing ability, able to unlock defences clinically.
Sam Sterna (Sammy) - Midfielder
Younger brother of Daniel, a strong versatile player who can play in defence or midfield. No nonsense tackler and uses his head wisely against attacking threats.
Sheridan Stevens (Shez) - Forward
Rejoined the club in December 2008 after spells with Histon and Chatteris Town. A pacey left sided striker, who was last season's top goal scorer and Skipper. Will be seeking to gain a regular starting slot in January.
Gareth Suttle (Beast) - Forward
This will be Gareth’s fourth season having scored on his league debut at just 14. Has a good eye for goal and made his 1st team debut in last year’s pre-season against Cogenhoe.
